Any fusion fiber users tried an alternative to mesh tape ? I have an area about 3 ft by 40 ft I want to cover partially with fusion fiber without using mesh tape. Anybody know if Gesso or a light sanding will give it something to grab onto ?
I covered some 1" thick x 2' green foam squares I got at Lowes with Fusion Fiber and it worked well once I roughed it up with a Stanley SurForm tool/plane.
Can't really see it in this photo but it's in the angled corner between the 3 cars and the engine.
