Hi. I recently acquired a postwar #2332 GG-1. It is in pretty good shape: the body has very minimal scratches and still has a bit of shine to it. However the 5 stripes and numbers are virtually gone on one side and fairly visible on the other. I would like to restore this engine and wondering if decals (water or self-adhesive) are the way to go. If so, is there a certain type you may recommend for this job? Is there anyone out there who has a "steady" enough hand to paint the stripes and other markings?
