I am in the process of upgrading a premier PS1 GG1 to PS3.  Because I wanted a different shell, I purchased a premier PS3 Bicentennial shell through auction. My question concerns the marker lights.  As can be seen in the photo, the marker lights have an extra wire and special connector.  Am I correct to assume the marker lights change between red & green depending on direction?

The upgrade kit does not provide a corresponding connector, should I split the wires and install separate connectors or is there a better way?

Thanks in advance!

After reviewing the photos in the "MTH GG1 PS3 Upgrade" thread by slipskull, there are many components I am lacking to get the full functionality of this PS3 shell. I think I will use the original shell and save the Bicentennial shell for another day.  The original shell is a PRR maroon 5-strip, which is an engine I already have, hence the interest in a different shell.
