Sometimes, I have to leave the scale stuff behind......today, to relax, I decided to go semi-scale/traditional, with a touch of whimsey......and it was a blast!

Good stuff, thanks for the vid!
That Decapod is is one pulling beast. I really like the Chick-fil-a and Nesquik cars!

Very nice. Love the milk train. Semi scale is my preference as well.
We bought some scale rolling stock at the Fredericksburg Greenberg show this weekend (didn't your club used to display there?) and having second thoughts about how I will put them to good use.
We (River City 3 Railers) never have displayed at Frederickburg.....might be something to consider in the future. I didn't even go to the show.....just crashed all weekend to rest up.......

Hi Peter,
Nice video
Thanks
Alex
Great stuff and you were having fun that is all that matters!!!
BTW.......the 6572 REA reefer pulled by the Decapod was the the last purchase I ever made from Madison Hardware.....on my last visit.....December, 82.

Very nice PETER. Thanks for the video. Every now and then it pays to have a change of scenery. Love the whistle!!!

Peter,
Very nice. I see you have the Lionel Newsstand on the layout, too. There aren't too many things more whimsical than that!
Thanks for sharing.

Tom.....the Newstand was a Christmas present from my godmother, December 1960...she's passed now.....now, it's value is beyond any money it might be worth!

Well Peter, this is just about what it supposed to be about, having fun while relaxing, and smiling at the sights and sounds. Bob S.
Enjoyable video post.
Hi Peter, Well done operating session, with a lot of prototypical operations. Whimsical is what it is all about, having fun with the trains.

Is the Decapod "semi-scale?"
The Decapod is a RailKing semi scale engine......one of the early PS2 engines.....it is a beast, a great combination of durability and power. Easily, one of the smoothest engines I own. I always come back to it....it will pull my Tropicana train of 30 cars effortlessly.

Looks like a lot of fun.
thank you Peter
great to have that history

Thank you for the whimsy , I needed that, Easy on them butter cars there Peter, all that butter cannot be good for you, (unless whimsey butter is good for you then it is all good).

Ah Peter, as long as they are O-Gauge, I am OK with it.
