Just got the GoPro and have been learning how to use it and provide lighting. More to learn but having fun.

If you would allow embedding of this video, I would embed it into your post for you. YouTube says you have embedding turned off.
Looks like there have been some changes in the GoPro 5. I had a GoPro 4 and could not use it for model photography because it would not focus close enough. The focus in this video looks pretty good up close.
Rich, maybe the focus looks good because there is a lot of light on the F unit. Eddie, one other little thing. You can see your red "on" light blinking in some of your shots on the front of the F unit. A small piece of black electrical tape over the GoPro "on" light will help any reflection. Nice job and have fun with your new camera. Don.
Rich, I think I've made the change to allow embedding. Please, embed it for me. Don, yes a lot of light. I used a Manfrotto Lumimuse 8 as well as room lighting. Yep, I realized the red blinking light. I'm pretty sure I can disable it.
