Got to say I thought the Whistle steam was really sweet. My good friend brought his over today because He does not have the ability to use the steaming whistle. He is waiting for his WTIU like everyone else. I used my tried and true DCS handheld. It took me a while to figure out the soft keys marked "SPW" and "FSW" . I assume that "SPW" means Sound Playable Whistle and "FSW" means Function Smoking Whistle. I thought it was cool how you can get the steaming whistle without using the playable whistle sound. When in "fsw" mode the whistle steams when using the whistle button on the DCS handheld. This is probably old news to alot of you but it was my first time running a MTH steaming whistle. I was under the impression you had to use the playable whistle to get the steaming whistle to operate.
I have a PS3 Big Boy on order and would like to know if that Big Boy will be set up the same way with the 2 soft keys "SPW" and "FSW". Is MTH's last run of the Big Boy with the steaming whistle set up that way? Any thoughts from some of you that have a Big Boy or a Chessie T-1 with the steaming whistle?
