Grease for plastic gears | O Gauge Railroading On Line Forum

I’m doing Maintenance on some of my battery engines and I’m not sure of the type of grease to use. I have a cartridge of “red n tacky #2” that I have used for years on my Marx stuff but don’t know if it’s ok with plastic gears.

Any thoughts for a product.

I've had no issues with the Lucas going on 20 years. I use it on all loco plastic/nylon/delrin/synthetic gears.

Thanks guys. I was hoping the the red n tacky would be usable. I picked up a 14 oz. cartridge 8 or 9 years ago and still have about 3/4 left. It will out live me.
