Hopefully next time I won't have college to worry about the next time one of these events takes place. This looks like a superb gathering for everyone who came and are all connected from this magnificent hobby
Word cannot adequately express our sincere appreciation to the great and extensive work that Dina and Alex did to make this such a wonderful day. Dina is one incredible chef and obviously spent many hours preparing a spread that was second to none. both Alex and Dina are such gracious and generous hosts and it was truly an honor to share the day with them. Of course, I was really thrilled to be able to pick up Mike Reagan at Newark Airport and bring him to the festivities (much to many folks surprise) . And, without a doubt seeing Marty, Dotty, the Exalted Poobah Ben, Vinny, Steve, Greg, Chris, Lionel Bill and the lovely wives that attended made it all the more special. The layout was breathtaking to say the least!! Most importantly, it is the special times when we all can break bread together and share the great friendship we all have. THANK YOU AGAIN ALEX AND DINA !!!!!
It was a wonderful experience at Alex's house. When you take a fun bunch of people, amazing food and drink and center it around trains, you have a very memorable day.
Thanks again Alex and Dina.
Thank you Jim for coming and for your kind words and also thank you so much for picking up our "surprise" guest at the airport. We are so glad that you, and everyone who attended, had as much of a great time as we did. We are so happy that everyone felt at home and enjoyed themselves the way we had hoped.
Joe, thank you as well. I hope you guys enjoyed yourselves despite Chris's headache. We felt so bad for her but you are correct, it was a very memorable day with a great bunch of amazing people.
I wanted to also take a second to thank Chris Lord for the many hours he spent planning this day with me, for the great track plans he made for me to hang on the wall, for the yellow arrows he put on the floor so no one would get lost, lol, and for running the trains all day to free me up so I could get the opportunity to talk to all my friends. Thank you Chris.
Thanks,
Alex & Dina
Wow- I missed a great event cause I had to work that day and deal with 1,100 cases of Ritz and oreos as a buy-in for 2 Shop-Rites. I have to retire so I can join in on the festivities that I miss due to working!
Next time you have an event like that, I will figure out a way to be there(with Oreos and mallomars in tow).
Looks like a good day! This is what the hobby is about.

Geez Alex, you're making me blush! It was my pleasure to add whatever little I could to what was a fantastic day. I know how much work you put into it and I can only imagine how much time Dina put in preparing the fantastic food. Someone's going to have to go a long way to surpass the great time (and food) we had. And yes, that is a challenge to you Vinny!
P.S. You going to Greenberg's this weekend? I'll be there on Saturday.
Wow, you can still find Hamms?!?
Good for you.
