Here's a bunch of happy snaps (and a couple of videos). A great time was had by all!
On Saturday, the local TV station sent a camera. A couple of the kids later told me they'd seen my layout on TV!
I've acquired more buildings and vehicles for show purposes!
The Lego modelers were out in force!
As were the garden railroaders!
Sir Topham Hatt spares a smile for the crowd!
Dave Bolin visits with scenery master Gene Austin!
There were all kinds of layouts and dealers to visit.
The Arkansas and Missouri RR was well represented...
Plenty of door prizes...
...and cupcakes for the kids!
More dealers, more layouts, more fun!
My SP Daylight (locomotive supplied by @Apples55) and gi-raffes were a hit with the kids!
Radio KURM broadcast live from the Train Show!
My sales table. If anyone's interested in an entire train of brakeman cars, my email address is in my profile!
The local NBC affiliate showed up as well!
In the afternoon, my Gi-raffe Express Hudson and SP U-boat spelled the morning locomotives.
I rescued these Marx locos for $2 apiece! The 666, despite having sat for decades, walked right off with the Daylight consist, cheerfully puffing smoke...
And some video!
A splendid time was had by all!
