How is stating a fact bashing?
I didnt make it . But heard the dealer count was light. That is to be expected in the summer unfortunitly. But any show is good IMO> If you enjoy the hobby and get a day to share it. Even if its not tons of stuff its still fun to chat, browse and you never know what you may find.. Did I understand that someone went there for the pickles..lol
Couldn't make it this time, was away on vacation. I will catch the next one

At Allentown, last year I noticed that the vendors are more numerous and they have more stock. I guess I didn't want to be disappointed this year as I was 4 successive shows in the past.

I guess it all boils down to how many train shows do we need to attend each year? And then there's always the element of personal preference.
Allentown has been -- and continues to be -- in an entirely different league than the Greenberg shows. No comparison. If you attend the Allentown shows in February and November, plus both York shows in April and October... that's a huge chunk of train show time for me -- not to mention that the caliber of those shows/meets is top-notch.
I haven't attended a Greenberg show since the days of the Fort Washington Expo Center, so I can't speak from recent experience. But from the sounds of things, it appears the shows haven't evolved with the times. I don't think anyone's bashing the Greenberg folks -- just stating the facts about vendor attendance from first-hand experience.
