I purchased the Greyhound Bus station on the MTH auction recently. It has the animated sign with lights for each letter of the name "Greyhound". Unfortunately 3 of those lights do not work. Does anyone know where I can purchase these. Searching the parts section of the MTH site was fruitless. I have attached a picture. They have the same base as most christmas tree lights.

Maybe use Christmas tree lights. Don
The base is the same but the bulb is not your typical christmas tree bulb. Could be very different voltages.
KnobKnee: It should only cost you 1 Christmas light to try it out. Go for it!
Sorry but I'm a bit cautious. The globe is not the same shape as your typical christmas bulb. Are either of you familiar with the signs MTH puts on all the bus stations and theaters? There is s circuit board tied to all these bulbs to control the sequencing of the bulbs. Last thing I want to do is blow the board.
See this OGR thread; that may be the $1 CI-0000009 but hard to say...
Any chance you can access and post a photo of the circuit board? I saw a youtube of the Bus Station in action. That's a pretty complex sequence. Would be interesting to see how they did it.
If no one else comes up with directly relevant info, I can probably determine the bulb voltage if I see some clear photos of the circuit board. This goes to whether a generic 2-3V Christmas bulb would be an option...as opposed to the ~18V for typical MTH bulbs with wire-terminal base.
Separately, I assume you tried swapping a working bulb to make sure the circuit driving the particular letters is not dead. That would probably mean a failed transistor or the like - much harder to repair than a bulb since I'll bet that board is no longer available.

I've attached photos of the board. I also revisited the parts search site at MTH. While it wasn't very helpful using a model number, I was able to use the search term "Bulbs" in the part number prompt and located the bulb in question. It also led me to one of my favorite hobby shops, Dixie Union Station. I emailed Rocky Lane and am waiting to hear from him on the availability of those bulbs. Will still test as suggested later today and will provide an update.

Rocky had the replacement bulbs and they are on their way to me.
So for the record, what is the mth part #?
