I have done a lot of business with them and have spoke on the phone with Mr Gyzrboski Sr. (Joe?), as well as his son and his wife.

Joe's wife is a "Saint" to deal with and is one of the nicest folks you can ever talk to.

Joe Sr, depending on his mood can either be very friendly or kind of harsh, i.e. when I told his wife how nice he was on the phone, she said she was surprised! LOL!

Joe's son is very businesslike and professional.

I have got some good deals from them, and their prices are sometimes good on an item or sometimes not good, it really depends.

One thing I can tell you is that, when I had issues with my Lionel TMCC SP Oil Can set, i.e. one of the engines had issues out of the box, they were able to fix it at no charge to me, even though the screw they found logged in the gears could have come from my layout.

They were very patient with me except once when I was frustrated.

But in all they took very good care of me, and sent me some free Lionel items, i.e. catalog, mouse pad etc.

Also, Joe "personally"...let me repeat..."personally" signed a thank you note to me.

Thus, in all I recommend them, and continue to purchase from them.

The last time I spoke to Joe Sr I seem to recall he told me, that they test all items before shipping to make sure no one gets any surprises from the factory.

Some folks like that, some don't, and I am not even 100% sure if this is done on every item.

I do not think he does it on factory sealed items, you might have to ask him, as I am not 100% sure.

In conclusion, I recommend them.

Sometimes, Joe Sr is like dealing with a more friendly "Madison Hardware", and I am sure Madison Hardware never signed personal thank you notes!

So again, i recommend them!

Great inventory, sometimes items that cannot be found elsewhere, prompt shipping, very courteous.

I have  1) purchased on line-great experience, very good service;

           2) purchased at York-a less than completely personal interaction, but nonetheless very satisfying, bought items I had sought for a while, still got good service despite their booth being *very* busy;

           3) visited their store and had absolutely PHENOMENAL service. Spent a lot of time, bought several items which I love (Lionel Blue Comet, first issue, along with rolling stock, scenery items, etc.).

I would HIGHLY recommend them, and I continue to order from them. After by North Carolina LHS, they are my "go to" place of "train business" (and a Forum Sponsor!).
