I have been looking for the Kline Plymouth Switcher and sent an email to several trains stores. Joe Grzyboski III was one of the only ones that responded. He was extremely helpful and responded quite quickly. Thank you Joe!!! What a beautiful little engine.

Very nice. Enjoy your new purchase.
Nice! I have a PRR one I'm going to try to stuff TMCC into.
Nice engine!!! I always thought those K-Line Plymouth switchers were really neat.
A year or so ago at the Greenberg show in Monroeville, I bought a Lionel CSX hopper off of him. I'm really happy with it!
John, after holding this little beauty in my hand if you can stuff anything in this I will be truly amazed.
I confess that last year I had one and looked at it briefly and decided to sell it instead of attempt the upgrade. However, I caved and bought another one, and I'm going to give it a go this time. I'm not sure where it falls in the priority of things, I have a ton of other work piled up for upgrades and repairs. Most of my upgrades are waiting until I can work through some of the pile.
I just went to his site and can't find it?
Is it two rail? Looks like 2 rail couplers on it.
I used to work there. Let me know if you'd like to sell that one!
K-line used Kadee style couplers on most of their Plymouths, as the Lionel sized couplers looked really bad on them. They included the big ones in the box if you really wanted them, but Kadees will couple to most Lionel style couplers. None of these engines were made as 2 rail.
I couldn't find it on the web, I just email them and Joe replied he had a new one in the box. John23 is correct, it is 3 rail and has the scale couplers that will couple to my atlas, mth and lionel cars. Larger couplers are included. I will put up a picture tomorrow.
Lucky man! It's getting harder to find a Hooker new in the box.

Ha, you're back!!! And yes.
The smoke unit puts out a thin stream of smoke which actually looks very prototypical, just like what a somewhat worn small infernal combustion motor would make.
Hi GRJ. I did put TMCC in a Plymouth switch engine with electro couplers using a digital dynamics motor mite board. All I can say is you can be scared to use a dremel tool !! I might try another one with the ERR board later on. If you do it, go slow
Dave, I figured that the Dremel tool would be involved! That's why I backed away the first time I looked into this project, but this time I'm determined to see it through.
I just went to Gryzboski's a couple weeks ago for my first time. They are very helpful, kind, and have a great selection of everything there. My wife does not share my hobby enthusiasm but even she enjoyed looking and talking to the people there. She did like their pricing compared to the LHS I typically visit. The other nice thing is they are within an hour from where I live and not far from where my wife likes to go shopping.
