Here is my 1:48 version of the Gunderson Maxi-IV in Bnsf (swoosh) livery.

This is obviously just like my TTX maxi-iv I posted last month.   This one required white decals, which I cannot make on my laser printer.  I’d like to recognize Eric at “ELs Trains”  for making these decals.

Just for fun, I put a standard 48ft MTH container in the middle “C” car.  This 48ft swift is from Husky Stack 20-95083.
The others are my hacked and lengthened-to-53ft containers.

Whew!  This was a lot of work.  I wish I could just take my credit card down to my LHS and buy Maxi-IV sets and containers.  (Hint, hint, MTH!!)

Awesome work!!!

Thanks Big Truck Pete.  I really do try to go for the container names that are most common on BNSF trains.  As someone mentioned in another thread, we don't need containers with M&Ms, Pittsburgh Steelers, and John Deere!

Your BNSF Gunderson Maxi-IV set looks fantastic! This type of car with 21st Century Containers would be a top seller!

Thanks Frank.  I know you have been lobbying the manufacturers for these for quite some time.  Keep up the good fight!  In general, we NEED relevant modern rolling stock!!!
