Here are some pics. I was able to use the factory hole closest to the coupler by running a tap for a 2-56 screw. A second hole was drilled and tapped further in. It only took a shim of .125 for the correct height. This was an easy one for a Lionel. As to the trucks, well that is whats left after removing the claw and some undercarriage; probably should replace with better trucks.

     Please pardon the photo colors, I wanted a lot of light so the work could be seen.

You deserve praise for your many paint schemes posted. How about some NYC lightning stripe hoppers? I would love to repaint the other aluminum ones made, ie Firestone etc.
