Curious if any of you used a 1/4 scale dollhouse on your layouts? OR maybe modified a dollhouse kit?

Have not yet, but after seeing the selection of dollhouse items in Hobby Lobby I intend to find a use for some things. Some of the electrical fixtures are intriguing.
Absolutely. I've bought a few kits from Miniatures.Com
This is great 6 structure kit for $39.95. Pieces are lazer cut plywood with cardstock shingles. All trim is plastic. Of course you need to sand and paint but a great value. I bought this one a few others for my Christmas Garden. 
I have purchased a several details and a building kit for a winter project. Haven't started work yet and probably won't until after New Years.
I haven't used the houses but I have bought gobs of 1/4" scale furniture. I have that in hotel lobbys, restaurants, building interiors all over the layout, etc. Great stuff!
