I appreciate any help on this. I want to mate the Williams/WBB NW2 frame to my modified SW1[ ex NW2] shell. It fits but I have to dremel off those die cast standoffs found on the Willams/WBB NW2 shell....

My question is [since I never had a williams nw2]what are those standoffs for? Are they just to hold electronic boards/light bulb socket? Or are they part of holding onto something for the motor or part of holding thelocos motor? Any answer and/or a picture of the gut would really be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I'll fathom a guess, they, look to be screw holds for circuit boards, to be screwed down to.

Give a call to Bachmann and speak to their their technical, or parts depts., for info of these four protrusions.
