Hello,
I have a large double loop of RealTrax running on my low pile carpeted floor and most engines run fine on the inner loop.
My MTH GS4, on the other hand, stops dead when it reaches a 30" hollow rail straight connected to another 30" straight and a 5.5" solid rail straight.
Can someone help me figure out where to start my troubleshooting?

I’m sure it’s the joint connections. Try placing a flat item under the joint so that it doesn’t sag under the weight.
As Rod says, probably the connection. Have you checked with a voltmeter when this happens?
Thanks for the help. I swapped some tracks around and cleaned the connectors and it's working now.
