Just wanted to say hi to everyone. Been gone from here for the past couple of years busy with surviving mostly. My screen name from a few years ago was Pa Goose if anyone remembers me. Had to take layout apart to remodel basement into an apartment for middle son and his family so trains are in storage again. Life just bacame too busy to think about trains for awhile.

Welcome aboard, John. Talking about trains can be good therapy when you don't have a layout. The new forum format is alright after you get used to it, and it's a lot easier to post photos.

Welcome back Pa Goose. I know how life can cause us to put our toys aside from time to time. But not to worry brother, everything falls into place with a little hard work and fath.
Many of our posters run floor layouts, celling layouts, or simply seasonal platforms at Christmas time.
One thing every layout, big or small have in common is fun!
