I am finally ready to do coloring of the plaster. But truthfully I am having a mental block. I have watched woodland scenic videos on how to do it but I am having trouble with the 16 parts to one part. I got to the point of 16 ounces water to one ounce color but to me that is too much liquid. How do I measure a smaller amount. Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks Paul

Is this what you mean?
To half it, divide by 2, to quarter it, divide by 4
16 oz water - 1 oz color
08 oz water - 1/2 oz color (1/2)
04 oz water - 1/4 oz color (1/4)

I like to test first on the watered down side,you can always make it darker. Make sure you do a test area first,it will also help get you in the grove. You really only have one shot at getting the color right, don,t rush it.
