I found this microscope that is in a wood grain tinplate box. But l can't find any pictures or information on it. Everything I find is in a blue and white box. Anyone know if this is a Lionel or a model number for it?

I think the first Lionel microscopes appeared in 1962. There was a separate science catalog.
That written, your microscope does not look like the few I've seen. IMHO, it looks like the microscope pictured on the Skilcraft microscope slide box. So maybe its a Skilcraft.
Lionel purchased the Porter company. Porter microscopes should have a porter logo on the front, which is a stylized "P". Lionel microscopes have the Lionel circle-L on the front.
You can try searching for microscopes on EBay and see if you find a match.

Ranger Rick, C.W. thank you very much for the help. I've looked on the internet and never found anything that is close. That picture at terapeak is the only thing I have seen that matches the box and microscope that I have.
