Merry Christmas everyone.

Odd request for help as this product was released 23 years ago, but this is the first time I've owned one.

Maybe its the rush of the holidays and not being able to concentrate on setting this thing up on my Christmas layout with 2 days to go, but the wiring instructions page aren't making any sense.  It illustrates the 5 clip tabs labeled A-E underneath the base, but never mentions the respective tabs in which to connect wires between the (1) Base, (2) Transformer and (3) the Activation Button.

Long story short, I've tried several different connections and nothing will get the device to work.  At this late stage and time running out to finish the Christmas layout, I'm ready to throw my hands up and just leave it stationary and unlit in the village for this holiday and figure it out in the new year.

For those who have this item, if you have any advice on how to set it up, please let me know.  If you have any photographs or black/red wiring diagrams that would help immensely.

We're heading out now for the evening, so any replies by me may be delayed.

Base? You mean the TMCC base????? has nothing to do with this.

I've added detail but the WORDING said the same thing.

Thanks Vernon.

No, the base I'm referring to is the underside base of the restaurant, not the TMCC base.

It's probably a simple repeated error on my end. I will try again using your schematic when I get back home.

Again, an important lesson here is - this is just like the gas station, the car wash, the fire station, and diner. The lights are on a separate set of inputs- good- this allows people to connect it to a different dimmable voltage or source with an ON/OFF switch, and still have the action of the accessory powered separately. That same thing then tends to confuse people and add more wiring.

For action, you just need power on A and B, and the switch is wired between A and C.

Vernon, I got home, followed your directions, and joila!

Thank you very much.  This is going to be a huge hit later today (Christmas Eve)
