Hello,
I have a Lionel GP-30 number 6-28817 that the rear headlight is not working. I took it to my local hobby shop and they could not get the part I need to fix the unit. The LHS told me that it needs part number 620-8215-312 PCB/Roof/Rear LED. Does anyone know who I might be able to get this part from?

Something is not right with the part # it is for the marker lights--not headlights

here is the wiring diagram for reference. Some of these engines used a spring contact for connection to the lights---cleanings of spring pcb contact may help.
If I remember correctly some of those early Legacy GP had bulbs solder into boards for lights also besides the LED. I ordered 12-14V pin bulbs and soldered them in. The whole light assembly was not stocked anymore by Lionel. G
I had the same issue on my Lionel GP30 (TMCC1), and I had to replace both the LEDs.
GunRunnerJohn told me which Yelo-Glo LEDs to use, and they look AWESOME!

You can actually see the difference in the LEDs between the factory Lionel ones on the RS-11. You can also see in the first photo that one of the LEDs is out, which caused me to swap them in the first place.
I want to make the switch to these for all my units!
