I have A Beep that I bought A few years ago and had taken it to the Westinghouse model train club in Wilmerding. I was driving dump truck long hours and wasn't always able to get to the meetings and running sessions. I went back to get some of my trains and scenery things back (train club had closed due to the pending sale of the Westinghouse castle.) I was told by Ed (one of the starters of the club) that the Beep didn't run any more. He had bought A new board and male/female plugs from Aristo craft Trains through some hobby store So I have no wiring diagram. Now I was told Aristo Craft Trains is no longer in business. Does anyone know how to wire up this new board into the Beep? Thanks for any help. Choo Choo Kenny

You'd have to tell us what board you're talking about. Did you buy a direct replacement board for the BEEP, or just a generic reverse board?
FWIW, the BEEP is a simple unit, and if you need it, I have the original board from the BEEP as I've converted all of mine to command operation and replaced the boards and lighting.
gentleman thank you for your replies! Steve "Papa" Eastman I went onto the website you suggested they only sell whole framework units no single component parts. Gunrunner I don't know what board was purchased it dose not have any part numbers on it or the grey bag that it was shipped in has no part numbers or markings on it. The new board does not look like the original one and is not the same size [its longer length wise] and the new one wont mount where the old one did mount to. If I cant get A wiring diagram I cant install this new board so my only options are 1 set it hooked up to A couple of coal cars on the siding under the coal tipple and it wont be able to operate. 2 Buy A new one and throw this one away. 3 Get A used board from you. It only cost 50 dollars when I bought it at A train show so depending on what you want for the used board will decide which one I'll pick. Get back to me when you can and let me know what you want for your old board if you still want to sell it. Thanks for your help gentlemen. Choo Choo Kenny
Shoot a picture of the board you have, I might just trade you for it.
New BEEP replacement boards are longer than original. You need screw extender to properly mount a new board. See attached photos. You may be able to get longer screw from Radio Schack and insert/use a sleeve to achieve proper height.
All replacement parts for BEEP are no longer available due to Aristo closing.
It might be best to use original BEEP board from gunrunnerjohn.

Do you know what manufacturer and model number your camera is?

How about any numbers or ID letters on the board?
If you have a smart-phone, you can take a picture and email it directly from the phone.
Railride Thank you for responding the camera I have is A Canon Power Shot 4000 IS HD 5.0-4.0mm 1:3.0-5.9 and the computer is an Asus with Windows 8.0 or 8.1. Everyone in my family and my few friends don't know how to use Windows 8. The place I bought the computer charges 30 dollars for 30 minutes to ask questions. I am one of these people that everyone loves to hate I am on government assistance I am in A wheelchair and I only get so much money every month. I cant see spending that kind of money to learn how to send pictures. I am just laying track in the tunnels and then putting up the second level then scenery. I would like to share this with everyone here if it is ok. If you can help that would be great and if you or someone else can thank you. Choo Choo kenny
Thank you everyone for trying to help and sorry for wasting everyone's time. Choo Choo Kenny
I don't have Windows 8 yet, but here is a general guide to getting images from a camera into a Windows 8 computer.
The PDF manual for your camera can be viewed online here. It doesn't mention Windows 8, but the software should still work on it. The walkthrough for importing images starts on Page 30.
On a more general note, there are two main ways to bring the images on your camera into the computer.
1: You can use the USB cable that came with your camera to connect it to one of your computer's USB sockets and turn on the camera. In this fashion the camera should behave like a regular storage device (unless you've installed Canon's software, in which case it should take over and walk you through bringing in the images on the camera and placing them in the "My Photos" folder).
In any case, normal behavior for Windows is to ask what you'd like to do with this device. The simplest choice is usually to use 'Explorer' (in Windows 8 it's now called "File Explorer") to view files on the device.
2: I peeked at the manual for your camera, and I see that it uses standard-size "Secure Digital" (commonly referred to as "SD") memory cards that plug into a slot next to the battery.
Your computer likely has a slot for such cards. If so, you can remove the card from the camera (after turning it off, of course) and plug it into the slot on the computer (it only fits one way). Windows should go into some sort of routine that amounts to asking if you want to import (copy) the photos on the card, and/or a few other choices. As before, the least complicated choice is to bring up Explorer (now called 'File Explorer') to let you look through the files on the card. The photos are always located in a folder within a folder (on my Canon PowerShot 100, it's "100CANON" inside the "DCIM" folder)
How we proceed next depends on which of the two methods gets you farther.
