I have had very limited experience with my Legacy system and today ran into something I have not seen before. Had two steamers on the same loop, one Legacy and the other TMCC. Initially, they both came up as Cab 1 on the remote and I had difficulty getting the Legacy Berk to start in Cab 2. After a lot of button pushing and scrolling I finally got her over and things seemed fine. The next thing I know it wouldn't move forward and I noticed that the window said 'SPEED LIMIT'. Couldn't get it out of that window. Shut everything down and restarted with no change. Then the TMCC engine (No611 J) really acted odd - it would go forward about a foot or two and then stop. I would increase the throttle and the same thing would happen. Couldn't get her to run correctly. I disconnected the Cab 2 base and turned it off and both steamers operated fine in conventional.

Am certain I did this but can't figure what I did to mess this up.  Any suggestions?

Must confess that I don't know my way around the remote very well yet...

Hi C Sam, do you have both the Cab 1 base and the Cab 2 Bases hooked together with the Y cable? Also, just the Cab 2 Set connected to the Outside Railband connected to the D side of the ZW? If you experience this again, insert the White Module for Steam Engines and set the TMCC 611 Engine into the cab 2 Controller, then also do the Orange module into the Cab 2 Controlder and re-set the Legacy engine. Also, just a reminder that only the cab 2 base is to be connected to the outside rail....I am not an authority on Legacy and TMCC, but this works for me.  Maybe Marty E will read your post. Good luck.
