Found a photo of the CB&Q 1800HP B-B diesel I referred to in my earlier post. It was a single-cab unit. I don't have a history on it, but I theorize it was a one-off build as it was done with a stainless steel body. This preceded the more famous articulated train/loco combinations. From the relative size, it looks like the same platform as the double-ended units.

This is one of the two Twin Cities Zephyrs. I don't the recall the names of those locomotives (I think one was Zephyrus) but they are single unit siblings of the Silver King and Queen and Silver Princess and Knight used on the first Denver Zephyrs. If you have seen pictures of the CB&Q Aeolus Streamlined Hudson it was built to be backup power for these.
RDUNNIII, have 9900 zephyr or the Aeolus been discussed at sunset for future offerings?

The Denver Zephyr was discussed, But at 12 (articulated) cars and 2 locomotives it would have been over $5000-6000 it was considered not viable. This was actually the beginning of the search that resulted in the Rockets. The Aeolus has not been considered as you can still get the PSC version and no one has asked.
I have a HO Railway Classics 12 car DZ and King Queen set of EA’s. Fabulous model built by Ajin for Doug Bauer. O scale? I agree with Richard no market. I paid roughly $5k for my HO set in 2003 so even $6k for o today’s money that’s cheap.
I was trolling around the web and found a color (hopefully not colorized) photo of the One Spot Twins. I can see where they got the term golden olive for the color.

When some of this stuff is offered, is a person really wants it, a person better step up before the "ship sails", because sometimes there is only one.
That said, some of the stuff mentioned: Aeolus, CB&Q E5 and E7, have been done previously so at least you have a shot on the secondary market.
Highlights the need for an accurate listing of what has been made previously, like the old Brown book, only strictly "O" scale.
I'm not a Sante Fe buff, but I have my own short list, so I can commiserate with you.
