I was looking for some photos of all available O-scale passenger car chairs, etc and ran across a HO company called "Red Cap Line".  Here's their catalog:

The reason I posted this was because their catalog has some great photos of chairs and other interior items used on passenger cars.

Now all we have to do is to convince them to make these in O scale

You're welcome

I was looking for interior shots of passenger cars when I found their site.  I'm getting OK Engines to cut an aluminum carbody with all the window openings so I can build one of the Sun-Lounge cars that Seaboard Air Line owned and want to be able to fill it up with chairs, tables, etc.

Here's a photo of Hollywood Beach:

Now where to get some 1/48 beach-themed carpet?!?!?!

Well, that was quick.  Here's the response I got:

Hi Bob, first, HARPY NEW YEAR!!

We at, RCL, wish you a very Happy New Year.

Now to answer you question, no Bob we do not.
With so much yet to build,..in HO, from some remaining coach seats,
to numerous Pullman Sections/bed rooms, etc, to details, such as Pullman
blankets-folded to Pullman Standards, etc.,

Although O scale would be interesting, the actual "Sales" market would be small and limited.

In addition, in this recovering, economy, the costs would be high as well, with no guarantee
of turning a profit.
RCL, is already way behind original schedules, do to the way economy has effected sales.
After, families have to put food on the table, before building the next car with a RCL interior, etc.

In wrapping up, again Bob, we at RCL, are very sorry for not having provided you the
response you were looking for.

Thank You, for your very kind  comments, etc., and we all at RCL wish you a very
Happy New Year and a very safe one, as well.

Here's my response to him:

John,

Thanks for the quick response.

Don't rule us out though, if anything, O-scalers like to spend money!  We may be fewer in numbers than the HO crowd, but there's a lot of folks that make up for it by spending a few thousand $$$ every month on their trains.

There's a large group of O-scalers who own a lot of older K-Line, Williams, and Lionel passenger cars that still have the silhouettes of people in the windows and are looking to replace them with interiors.  Even some of the newer offerings come without any interiors at all.

So keep us in mind.  We can always use another source of parts!

Thanks,
Bob

If they or someone else did want to take a dip in the O-scale pool, what passenger car interior item(s) would we like to see that are not available now?  How about some reclining seats (that actually recline)?
