Yeah, they have a TON of inventory, most you don't see on the shelves. A friend told me it's best to go online, make your shopping list, then go in and ask for everything on your list. If you assume you're going to see everything in stock you're going to be missing out.

I've found some neat items at Nicholas Smith, not always advertised on their website, but just luck of the draw, as they found them in their warehouse and put them out amongst the myriad items. I am sure I missed a lot, too, as I only can get down there a couple times a year.
Before Lionel's BTO Program, Nicholas Smith train shelves were the place to see the items that would stay in stock for a few years at least. They still have in-demand items, however, as shown in your video.
