Since I couldn't make it to York this weekend, decided to peruse the bay for some K-line intermodal.

I found an item that was from an "estate" that was two out of the cars from a spine car set. One of the end cars and a middle. It had two trailers on it, and only two sets of trucks. No reserve, would be perfect, I have about 10 of those already, it would fit right in. I found it with 3 hours left. Figured if it was meant to be, I'd get it. With 5 min left, put in my bid, went outside to water some vegetables. Came back in to find I had won, I was the only bidder, and immediately after the auction ended, I received a "order cancelled" email from the website, then a message from the seller claiming: "so sorry, was trying to wrap your item for shipping and it fell off the shelf and is broken".  I sent an email back asking for pics of the damage, saying I might be able to fix it, or use it for parts, and havent heard a thing.

These cars are die-cast, I'm pretty sure it didn't break. I'm thinking this guy didn't get what he wanted, so he used this "cheat" to get out of selling it.
