I have almost run out of insulators for my catenary.  Don't ask how many. Does anyone know who, if anyone, has picked up House of Duddy supplies?  If not does anyone know where I can obtain more.  They are single Delrin discs that you stack to make the insulators.  Tedious but look great.

I also contacted jamesrivers re 24 gauge phosphor bronze 300' wire but no reply to question re purchase of same.  Anyone know of a source for this?

I make very similar insulators that are cast resin, but you have to drill the hole for the wire.  I made ~1400 of them for a friend's overhead and have a few hundred laying about if you are interested - have not counted them,

The thought of having to drill holes in each is more than I can handle.  I have 4,000 of Ed Duddys and need 3,500 to 4000 more.  This has become a major project by itself and trying to stabilize each one to drill a hole exactly the same in each is mindboggling.  Thank you for your offer but is is a drill too far.

Actually it's pretty easy.  They all have a little dimple in the top of the casting for centering the drill bit.  Slap them down on some double sided tape, run them under a jeweler's variable speed drill press and it goes rather quickly when they cost only pennies per casting vs. not having any at all.
