Greenberg puts on a great show with tasbles of trains for sale and layouts of all scales for the families who attend. They do a ride-on trian for the kids and aim the shows as well for kids.

We do the Greenberg show in Edison, NJ 3 times a year running Legacy, TMCC and DCS trains continously and enjoy the weekend. It brings in a good crowd and they do plenty of advertising as well.

Because of my work schedule I don't get to go to very many shows unles I take vacation time. For this reason it has been a few years since I was at a Greenberg show.

That said, I always have a great time when I do go. As stated above it's true that none of them are as cool as York, but most shows do not host all of the manufactures as does the TCA York meet.

The Greenberg shows are for buying those little things you may wont and simply having fun with toy trains and it's people.

They've been having Greenberg shows here in Pittsburgh since about 1978, and I think I've only missed 3 in all those years.  They are decent shows, and they usually get a good turnout.  They last show was especially busy.  If things aren't what they used to be in your area, I suspect it is more a reflection on the hobby rather than the show promoters.  It is also a social event...many of my train buddies show up, and we have a good time talking.  I usually spend about $70-100/show.  No, its not York but its still a good time, and I don't have to pay for a hotel room as I do in York!
