I keep about 10 photos and one video on my dumbphone. I upload them to my computer and have thousands there. I maintain a good directory structure on the computer and can get to any photo in a few seconds. I would say that model railroad photography is a big part of the hobby these days.
A lot more than I do of my kids....... It's easier to get the trains to stand still.
1,684 and counting in 4 years since I started building my layout . Everything I shoot with my phone automatically uploads to the cloud and I can access them from my laptop.
A lot, most are linked to a Photobucket account. There is organization, relatively easy access. Finding/accessing a photo is important. Note the trade-off, These pictures are no longer mine.
