Be very, very, very careful and exercise a great deal of patience when you clean your 2360.
Remember, the paint, and especially the stripes lettering and numbers, are decades old and need tender, loving and knowledgeable care.
I would start the process with a brush that used natural bristles and slowly get rid of the surface dust. Next, I MIGHT wet an old, clean tee shirt with distilled water until it is damp and go lightly over certain areas that have caked on dust and then wipe off the residue with a dry, clean cloth.
I would not take it any further unless I had a GREAT DEAL of experience in cleaning Post-War trains.
There are some very knowledgeable people on the Forum who could help you with further methods to clean your 2360, and I hope this post will motivate them to join in this thread.
I would think that you will do best with your 2360 GG-1 if you adopt the "less is more" approach to cleaning your single stripe 2360.
Hope this provides a start on the cosmetics.
