How to identify MTH model numbers

I am a Lionel guy and  not real familiar with MTH and I'm having trouble identifying model numbers on some of the locomotives that I have.  Is there a way to cross reference a caB number with the 20- or 30- model numbers assigned to these locomotives when you don't have the boxes?

If you post a couple good photos of each engine maybe  some of the forumites might give you a direction to go in .    Some of us may have some of the same engines that you have. 🤔      At that point clear cab numbers could be useful.

On the mth product locator page, at the very bottom, there’s a fill-in for cab number. Try that.

You can also search the MTH website for the cab number. That's been successful for me in the past.

Bum, you have good info there to help you out. It’s funny you should bring this up, I’m an MTH guy that has trouble figuring out between Lionel Scale and Traditional when looking on line for items. In the Lionel catalog they separate them. MTH the # 20=scale and #30= 027 in Lionel terms. What numbers does Lionel use to separate the two.
