I would love this rail bus in STD Gauge Tinplate.

That's pretty cool.
What RR, region, country is that?

I want one too!
I'd like a lithographed Marx 21 set in STD gauge. I don't want plastic or 3D printing, just a tin litho shell over a simple drive mechanism, just like the O gauge version.

Looks like giant tinplate!
Looks like an interesting project that could grow from a observation or passenger car Steve.
I gotta see if I can pick up a derelict observation car in O gauge AT OCTOBER YORK! I already have a power truck in my stash.
Reminds me of a line from the movie Airplane, "It looks like a big Tylenol"
But I think it would be a cool little railbus on a layout
That's cool - look at those airflow front wheel covers. There are some interesting beasts out there. First one here is a Canadian Mack AS railcar streamlined back in the 40s (I think) after a collision. The Mack railtruck is from a nearby railroad - also modified but with a speeder cab. Note the tipping mine car on the bed - nice add-on. Just a couple of back-of-my-mind projects for modern STD Gauge.

A railcar in service in 2006! Not a Sunday drive to see that, worse luck. From here critters on California Western aren't, either.

An internet search for " FS Littorina " will provide additional information and photographs on its Italian standard gauge cousins, as well as other narrow gauge units from the empire of the "New Rome".

Joe Mania has some kind of tooling foe a traction loco when I sold some of the MEW tooling to him. Check with him on what it was. Harry
