Identifying circuit boards on MTH ,20-3056-1, 2-10-4 Texas steam engine | O Gauge Railroading On Line Forum

I am looking for information on identifying the circuit boards on this engine to trouble shoot it for a customer. This engine is completely dead when trying to power it up. The transformer does not indicate a short by tripping. And after inspecting the boards I couldn’t see any obvious burning or bad soldering. I also have not been able to contact MTH as of yet.

It's a PS2 5V locomotive. Boards probably dead.

Are you getting track power to the 7-pin connector on the board stack in the tender? If so, and it's totally dead, I suspect Lou is correct.
