Out of those options I would need to go with A. I would want to order one but I would need to factor in the price, accuracy would be more important to me than the features on this engine, so I would rather have a 3rd rail brass model than an MTH model of a PRR or Russian 2-10-0 pretending to be #90. It would be nice to have a Legacy model but it wouldn't keep me from buying if it wasn't.
J) wait and see if anyone reports the trucks are falling off
K) wait and see if it matches the catalog
L) follow the release of the product and it's quality issues
M) if still interested then pick one up on the aftermarket
All of the above
I would get one as long as it is true to its design(which something probably won't be quite right). Ryan has spoken about this being something on his agenda to do, both mentioned back in 2016 and this year when he was at TrainWorld. This still may take some time as he said something like it was in his plans. I would like to think that this would be in the 2019 catalog as I wouldn't think they have gotten it done for the coming one. If they do manage to make #90, what other engines would they make with it(same model engine is what I mean)?

Which was only a repaint of a traditional sized N&W "J." Both MTH Railking and Williams offered it.
Williams also painted it New Haven, Canadian National, Pennsylvania, Wabash and two flavors of B&O. If you closed your eyes they looked exactly like the real thing.
BTW, Santa Fe considered "Blue Goosing" a 3751 class Northern, but the streamlining would've added too much weight in Santa Fe's opinion.
I'm pretty sure folks that would be forking out a grand or more for a Strasburg/Great Western 90 would want it done right, not some warmed over stand in.

I'd like one, but not if I had to pay an arm and a leg for one.
