New RMT Ore Car Trucks

Just a follow-up.

After sending back the six cars, Pat graciously replaced the three cars that had axles with loose wheels and shipped them back to me.  My curves are more than wide enough for these cars by the way.

The same thing happened on three more cars again so he gave me a refund.  Most people don't seem to have an issue with these cars, but I am glad to be rid of them.

And that's the difference from buying from a difficult dealer and a stand up dealer like Pat.

Really beautiful looking ore cars though.  Pretty disappointed they didn't work out for me.

Has anyone heard anything about getting replacement trucks?  I have two cars (Milwaukee Road and Johnstown Steel), and I'm still waiting for over a year.

Walter said at the NJHR open house, that he has yet to hear when the new ones would be coming in.

Thanks.  I met a lot of forum members there, but didn't know that he was in attendance.

I've never met Walter, but would have liked to talk with him.  I understand that dealing with China takes time, but it's been an endless string of excuses going back for a year - approving the trucks, Chinese New Year, holidays, shipping delays, etc. etc. 

I am still waiting for my ore car trucks!
