Improve them how? Electrically? Cosmetically? Could you be a little more specific?

Sell them and buy Ross Switches
The problem with Ross switches is they don't make a 36 which is the radius geometry of Super O. So it's not a form and fit replacement without more modifications to the layout. There's plenty of advice to be had on Super O and Super O switches over on the Super O forum at groups.io/g/SuperOtrack.
I meant electrically
My thought is that you have to watch the center frog device. Sometimes it may bend down in the center, and cause the switch to short or be difficult to throw. The solenoid can get 'sticky' (wear from use) and not work properly; replace it or get another switch.
