Will fit nicely with my Army-theme layout.

Yes - it will be a great loco.  It's not of the time period I model on my layout, but I think I will get one and put it in a display box at work.  It ought to be very handsome and a good tribute to our military personnel.

Like Lee it doesn't fit my time period but being a Viet Nam Vet I'll definitely order one.  It's a great tribute to all that have served.

Interesting................ I sent this drawing to Marc Orton at NS on February 24, 2012. I suggested that one engine be painted up to honor all the Americans who are serving and have served in the Armed Services for our Country! To help ensure a successful future sometimes we need to honor the people that protect our freedom.

Frank,  your design is nice and that would be cool if they use it.

To get this paint scheme in O you will have to settle for an SD60M. I can't see any of the manufacturers tooling up for an SD60E and it's home made cab with the overhanging roof over the windshield.  http://www.railpictures.net/photo/346545/
