Just released info from NS Altoona Locomotive Shops website...

"An announcement was made early this morning ( Friday 10-26-2012) that
NS 6920 (SD60E) will be painted in a Red, White,
and Blue paint scheme to honor our Veterans. It
will be debuted on this upcoming Veteran's Day, celebrated on
 Monday, November 12th, 2012."

Trackside is really getting interesting recently, thanks to NS.

Good Day,

Interesting................ I sent this drawing to Marc Orton at NS on February 24, 2012. I suggested that one engine be painted up to honor all the Americans who are serving and have served in the Armed Services for our Country! To help ensure a successful future sometimes we need to honor the people that protect our freedom.

Regards,
Swafford
