Hi:
There are several interesting offerings in the new MTH catalog. My eye has firmly been caught by the New Haven EF-3B in McGillis livery. It has twin motors and motorized pantographs. Price is 799.95.

Either the RK SD9 in NS livery or one of the 2 RK Genesis engines with Amtrak Heritage schemes, particularly the #145 Phase III. $299.95 for the Genesis, $329.95 for the SD9.
I've ordered the cab-forward. 30-1649-1
I'm getting off light this time:
NASA Engineers car, and maybe the 5 car NASA Solid Rocket Motor Set.
The set is too modern for my layout but I do Love Rockets...
I ordered the Dreyfus Hudson and the Imperial Triplex.
I also have the S-1 and UP propane turbine, announced earlier catalogs, on order, and hope those come in by year's end.
5 Car NASA solid rocket set - definite purchase.
And then I can wish for pretty much one of everything else, maybe 2 in some cases!
Gunderson Twin Stacks. Ordered two sets. This is the cheapest I've gotten away with in an MTH catalog for some time. Of course this means I'm going to get nailed in the 2014v2 catalog in April.
Spence, who did you preorder from? I also would like the cabforward.
Bob
Is this a new catalog, or the one they release a few weeks ago?
The catalog I am looking at is 2014 volume 1.

Premier autoracks.
I see (at least by the sample photo) that MTH has finally figured out how to use a railroad logo that covers more than one row of side screens (20-98965 Canadian Pacific).
The KCS one looks nice too. Ultimately I'd like to get all four of the autoracks being offered. It would make for a light order this time around. The only wrinkle is I already have 46 of these monsters.
