Great weather and a good trip. Dotty and I spent time with Phil and Linda Klopp. I will put pictures on later.

Thanks Marty for starting this thread. I will not make it this spring, but hopefully will be there next October.
I always enjoy watching the York meet unfold here on the forum. And yes, photos will be much appreciated.
Tell Dotty and everyone we said hi and enjoy the trains and weather.
Looking forward to the photos. Enjoy your time there.
Have a good time Marty.
As you know we can't make York this trip but you and Dotty have a great time! See you when you get back.
Hold onto that temp, it's supposed to get cooler later in the week! I'll be heading down Thursday morning, and hopefully the rain will be finished. Enjoy your stay.
Don
In Calif. you'd need a coat because they would have the air conditioning at full blast.
Marty,
You beat us down there, but I have a feeling that we may cross paths on Wednesday...... around lunchtime!
See you soon,
Ed
I am about an hour north of York and under a tornado warning at this moment.

Marty & Dotty
You are having way to much fun already.
but hopefully will be there next October.
I can only repeat what Roger said. I'm very hopeful next year will be me and Nancy s first trip.
Larry
Enjoy Marty, see you on Wednesday !!!!
Alex
Larry, I am doing my best. The last two years have been tough for me health wise. I am coming back and want to see every layout worth seeing. I do not want to be selfish and try to share pictures whenever I can.
It would be great to run into you at York Larry.
Marty, great pics thanks for posting! Have a great time at York, hopefully you can find a few new passenger cars!!
Jeff
Thanks Jeff. I never walk away from a good passenger set. I just got the new Lionel Lines Zephyr. A train I never gave a second thought about before. It is the fault of Chris Lonero for showing me his train and running it on my layout.
Marty, I watched the video clip of it on your layout that is a neat looking train. I can see why you added one to your roster! Off to work myself, have a great day in Pa with all of those trains.
Jeff
Hi Marty hope your having a great time in York, coming to York Friday and hope to see you there, let me know what hall you might be in!
Alan Mancus
By Friday it will only be 55 degrees.
Arrived at the hotel, Sheraton, at about 9:30pm last night. Had a hell of a lightning show on the way in. Sun is out this AM and will be off to the Round The Clock for breakfast. May run into Marty there? Off to see some bandit meets and then find something to make the wife happy.
We are headed to the Clock now.
See you soon Marty. Glad you arrived safe and sound.
Thursay and friday it will be clear but in the mid 50's so bring a jacket.
Great day! Weather was beautiful. Hit some of the bandit meets and equaled that for the wife with some antique shopping and a great tour of a Heir Loom weaving mill. Tomorrow, breakfast again at the clock, some more shopping and then on to the fair grounds to help set up the Mianne Benchwork booth.
I'm packing tonight, then tomorrow I'm heading to Strasburg to photograph trains and maybe see the TCA Museum activities, then to York.
Hey, Cape Cod.
Looking forward to seeing your Thursday somewhere. Save me two seats at Ruby's Thursday night.
Considering most of the Winter was below freezing, and often even below zero, 55 degrees on Friday sounds positively balmy!
Gary,
Sorry buddy but I don't do Tuesday at Thursday or whatever it is called. But since you have not been to York in such a long time, you will have to go through initiation again and either buy a round for all or stand-up the whole night. I'm sure I will see you roaming the halls or over at Mianne Benchwork where I will be a good part of the time.
About to meet friends at the Round The Clock for breakfast and then off to the TCA Museum in Strasburg. Should be at the fairgrounds around two after a sandwich at Issac's.
This morning, I checked the National Weather Service website for York.
No rain, partially sunny, or sunny, temps in the low 50's.
Sounds like great train show weather to me.
Plus it should be an easy drive. I81 can be awfully foggy at times.
I'll take the 50's over rain or snow any day.
Checking the railroad cam in Cresson and Altoona its snowing. Also large snow flakes coming down in Homer City. However, its not laying on the ground in Homer City.
Had a short down pour on the way here, now its cloudy and chilli but no rain.
talked to people at the hotel who came from the west and they drove through heavy snow.
But we're here and can almost smell the trains :-)
The fun begins tonight at the Wyndham.
I have arrived my friend, and it t'aint no 75 degrees, but it is York so who cares lol!
I arrived at York this morning and by noon time it was about 68 degrees and quite sunny; two hours later it was 50 degrees and pouring rain. Its now almost 5:00 with a cloudy sky and a temperature in the low 50s. I enjoyed a casual walk through a couple of the bandit meets. Getting ready to chow down.
Around 10am Wednesday near Donegal, drove through a blizzard for at least 30 minutes. Hope it doesn't follow me to York.
