Hi Everyone

Anyone planning to either attend or be a vendor / seller at the O scale National Convention on September 11 and 12th in Indy?

Have personally never attended this show nor heard much about it on this forum and am wondering about it. For anyone who's previously attended this show, how large is it compared to other shows such as Greenberg, York, etc.? is it actually a national show or more regional in size and scope? Is it really mostly O or a mix of scale items there?  Would it be worth traveling from the N.E. to attend it?

Hey Ogaugeguy...

I have never been to the York show, but I can tell you this...The venue this show is being held at is just a medium size old airport hotel conference center.  The way you guys talk about York...I doubt you will see any comparison.  I have to say I am looking forward to it though...it's an 1/2 hour from my front door.

I attended the Indy show last year and was impressed by the amount of major vendors and importers.  I was able to find several things I needed plus several things I did not know I needed.  Travel effort was well worth it.

IMO, forget about the negativity,  the show name and convertible 3 rail.  There's more 2 rail there than most of us could handle.  Go and have some fun.  Bunch of great folks.

Decent rooms, free close parking and several nice restaurants in the area.  tt

Yes.  I came home with a tub full of brass, model projects, and detail parts.

Yes.  I could have bought twice as much as I did but managed to exercise some restraint....
