I'm thinking of putting a PS1 board in a Senco tender, anyone have one of these oddities that can pull it apart and get a representative inside length width and height?

I'll bet there's more than one Senco tender, could you be a little more specific?
I don't really know, it's being donated to me by a forum member. Don't have it in hand yet.
However, I was under the impression that the Sound Tender was the only project Senco ever made for trains, and there was only the one model. Might not be the case, though.
Since you have one coming, just be patient for a few days and you'll be able to measure it yourself.
Judging from the spacing of the trucks, I'd say it's plenty big for the PS/1 board. The real question after looking at the construction and track pickups is why would you want to?

I don't know. In the words of the great humorist Mark Train (Sam Clements' lesser-known second cousin and avid railroad enthusiast):
“To succeed in life, you need two things: ignorance and confidence.”
I've got both of those things. So I'm gonna PS1 a Senco Sound tender, and I'm not looking back!
My modified (for the Alabama, Tennessee & Northern; close to the real ones ) Williams Ten-Wheeler using a Senco tender. I only know of one Senco design, BTW.
I put an ERR DC Commander in this tender; no sound. The tender is scale-sized for a small prototype.
The Electrocoupler and Senco scale-sized trucks should give you an idea of dimensions; I did not want to get into taking this apart.
I used the Senco trucks with original Senco wheels - totally Hi-Rail compliant; roll well. I frame-mounted the Electrocoupler. You can't see the roller pickup when the tender is on the track, partly because of my scratch tool boxes. I think that I added some of the steps; "old" photo - been 5+ years or so.

@D500: That looks great! I like the toolbox add-ons. I think that access ladder is also an add on base don the photos of other tenders I've seen.
I'm going to use the Senco trucks if I can, but I've been told that one of the trucks is missing some springs. I'll see what I can dig up in my parts bin. But I'll probably do the lower toolbox add-on anyway. And with the PS1 I can also include a coil coupler.
I intend to use the locomotive pickups and run the power to the board through a tether back and forth. I have a few tethers and their connectors from some other junk I've demolished over the past couple of months. My only concern is if the connectors are beefy enough to carry the actual motor current both directions, or if they are only good for 5 or 6 volt light and sound stuff. I'll find out if something explodes or melts, I suppose. But I think they should be OK.
