I've got the parts, but contrary to my expectations, the 2023-44 roller pin does not have a hallowed side for riveting and the opposing side does not have a T shape to it, so I'm not quite sure how to go about this...

Yes, I'm aware that my roller is likely a 2023-43 roller, but that should be of no consequence - it appears that only the taper is slightly different.

Normally, i just use a small needle nose pliers to bend the very ends of the collector arm, leaving the pin in place. Then just slide the old roller off. Slide the new roller on, and bend the ends back in place. Not too tight, or the roller won't spin

If you want to change the pin: it is staked on one end. File away most of the upset, and push the pin out.

The new pin will be turned down on one end, and the holes in the collector arm will be two different diameters.

Slide the pin through the large hole towards the small hole, so the turned end goes into the small hole. Then upset the turned end.

Sounds good in theory, but the replacement pins i have are turned too small, and don't fit the small hole very well. Not much to upset.
