My pick is either the Lionel Vision steamers or the Lionel Acela.
For all the piping and add-ons, the K-line Berk [as in Lima #1 or the reissued Lionel Legacy model] is hard to beat!

I can only speak from personal experience. I agree that the K-Line Berk with the Elesco feedwater heater has the most exterior boiler piping and added details that I've seen. As far as "under the hood," the Lionel Vision Line CC2s 0-8-8-0 is pretty imposing.
