Hey Everyone!  Its that time of the week to show what's being unloaded on your layout's team track (s).  As we all know, team tracks provide public access to the railroad for off loading and on loading freight cars of all kinds.... box cars, gondolas, flats cars, covered hoppers, open hoppers, tank cars, refers, and even baggage cars, combines, and RPO's.     Lets inspire one another with photos showing whats happening on your team track.  We've had some great photos and information of both model and real railroad 1:1 scale team tracks in past weeks.

Here's some from the Free State Junction Railway and Strasburg Toy Train Museum. B&O switch crew patiently waitsJPGBox pushersIMG_0563IMG_1091IMG_1630IMG_1633

In HO, Walthers has offered a team track scene as part of its Cornerstone series. The kit features an overhead crane, ramp and conveyor, enabling the modeler to load and unload a wide variety of commodity types on his/her siding. Perhaps a similar kit in O scale would encourage more O gaugers to model team track operations.  As I mentioned in a previous thread, my home layout doesn't presently have a team track but Patrick's "Team Track Tuesday" is inspiring me to add one

Great photos and information guys!!  Thanks for all the great posts!!!  AND thanks to everyone who stopped by to take a look at whats on the team track.

Fred - great photos!!  Especially liked the string of refers and the Pabst sign!!

SIRT - Beautifully done outside braced wooden boxcar.  Is that a 60 footer?

Looks like the last barrel is about to be unloaded and the crew can go home. I like the weeds around the wheel stops and the straw on the floor of the boxcar.

Also I like the weathering job on the truck!  Fabulous work as always!!!

Bob -  I'm thrilled that you are finding inspiration to build a team track from this thread!!!  Awesome!!!

Yes, cool HO scale stuff for the team track.  I agree perhaps one of the manufactures could do something similar in O gauge/scale.

Joey A - wonderful story telling with your photos!!! I like the title "double delivery"!  I also liked the contrast of the two Sentinel B&O boxcars.   Great weathering job as we know your work to always be!!!

Peter - nothing like a long team track!!  I love it!!!  The big hook is busy doing the heavy lifting too!!! I'd love to see your club layout in action someday!!

Jay Jay - very nice scene with the Seaboard boxcar trumpeting "The Route of The Robert E. Lee"!!!  Is that a Dodge truck on the right?

Mark Diff - thanks for checking in!  Looking forward to pics of your team track diorama!!!

Have a great week everyone!!  I hope to see you all next Tuesday on

THE TEAM TRACK !!!
