We just discovered the Ives "O" electric spoke wheel mold. Is there a need for this item to be produced? Now is your chance to express your opinions. Harry

Gee Harry, I saw the topic and thought I'd post and suggest they contact the store for information, but then I find out it's you!
Of course you should make them, along with any other that are getting harder to find. There are quite a few people into restorations, and one problem that constantly comes up are wheels with Zinc problems, and the need for replacements. There will always be a demand for Good Repro wheels, no matter what style.
Assuming you are referring to the diecast spoke wheels with the nickel rims,
There is probably a very small need. Most of these wheels survive unless damaged from an impact. Rarely see any pest or expansion problems in the O gauge.
The steam type wheels (with lug for attaching rods) would be a better run for you to do, as they could be used for both steam and electric locomotive applications. Ives switched over to putting steam wheels on everything sometime in 1928.
