I want to let everyone know that Jack Smith is in the Rochester General Hospital. He is scheduled for bypass surgery this Thursday. I know that you all wish him well.

I visited Jack in the hospital today. His doctor confined him to his bed but he is in good spirits. He is in good hands, his doctor is one of the best cardiac surgeon in the country.
I will let everyone know how Jack is doing after his surgery tomorrow.
I heard from Jack's wife and I want to let everybody know that the surgery went well and Jack is in recovery.
Heard from Jack's wife also with the same information, if you get to see him let him know that we are all pulling for a fast recovery.

Get well , here is to a smooth recovery.
Spoke with Jack last night, he said to say hello to everyone and that he is doing okay. Two days post-op he is still pretty sore but he was able to get up and shower and is on the road to recovery.

Jack’s surgery went well and is home recovering. It will be a couple of months before he is back to his old self.
Was really happy to receive an email from Jack this morning, part of the message being:
"Please let my OGH & OGR friends know that I very much appreciate thier thoughts and prayers. I would do so but I can't sit here and 2 finger type for any length of time. "
He figures he will be a couple of more months until he starts to hit something close to normal. I admit I cringed when I got to the part in his recap about "chest cracking."
