I tried emailing jd's trains at old email info@jdstrains.com and no reply. I checked web site, saw new email address (amhobbies2@hotmail.com) and promptly got a non deliverable reply.
does anyone know what is correct address?

I sent him an e mail the other day to his original address, but no reply. I can't find his card, or I'd give you his number. When I talked to him at York, I mentioned his less then timely replies, and he said he'd try to be more prompt. Vacationing maybe, or at a show?

info@jdstrains.com does work. He does get the e-mails.
When did you e-mail Jeff Dobslaw?
He was not at the store between Monday to Wednesday last week.

email sent on 5/30.
Mine was sent 5/24, but it's not crucial for him to reply immediately.

I had a similar experience. Tried e-mailing a week or two ago and got nothing. I hope everything's okay.

Guy's....if you Google "JD's Trains" and then click on the about us, he has all of his contact info including his phone number.

Got most of my rolling stock and engines from AM Hobbies back when Bob Thatcher ran it. When he handed it over to Jeff at JD Trains, I stayed with them for my Weaver and Atlas purchases. Found then, as I do now, that his prices are very good. I run 3RS and Jeff will even swap out the thumbtack couplers on the rolling stock I buy and install KD's for no additional charge. I too have had less then stellar responses to my e-mails and have talked to him about it including this past York. Yes I find his communicating skills annoying but once contacted, I find his prices and service excellent. I find I get much better response if I call. This is not his main job. He does this more as a hobby.

I just purchased an Atlas MKT f3 Diesel from Jeff. Talked to him several times on the telephone, and ordered the engine online. Great service and a really good guy, but he does not answer emails. He either does not get them or prefers to talk on the telephone. If I ever need anything else from him, I'll call and forget emails.
I generally deal with Jeff by phone, so I don't know about him answering e-mails. I just got a package from him yesterday so I know he's around (or at least he was last week to send the package). I get all my Weaver and Atlas from him. His prices are good, he packs well, and he saves up back orders to save on shipping. He's also a nice guy to talk to.
I have purchased items from him and have always been very happy with his service. I'm getting ready to order a bunch of track from him...and when I have questions I usually talk with him by phone...a very nice guy for sure.
I too have made multiple purchases from Jeff, and have always found him to be very friendly and helpful. Truly a nice guy. I also must agree with most that have commented here that he is more of a phone guy, not so much an email guy.
He's not very good with emails in my personal experience, but if you call the store direct, Jeff usually answers the phone himself. I just call him now, and don't even hassle with the emails.
I also have emailed him numerous times without a response. I was looking to buy something and not just to chat away an afternoon. I realize we are all busy, but with a business email address they should be answered in a timely matter. I am easy going but I will buy elsewhere if need be.
